 Obiettivo del progetto (Objective)

'The core of the project is planned conference that will be organized on the issue of the European Integration process in the new regional and global settings with a focus on three main policy areas: social reforms and social cohesion, the new financial perspective, the single market with special attention to such areas as the capital movement, financial services and the labor mobility within the single market. Thus the conference will attempt to highlight the contribution of an open European Research Area to effectively address these challenges. This project is aimed at activating the academic community and policy makers in Poland as well as in other EU Member States to conduct the important role in policy making in executing the Strategy 2020 for Europe. The project will result in a systematic approach to integration processes, what means an analysis of the presence and future challenges. It is unavoidable to embedded the Polish Presidency within the EU strategy “Europe 2020”. The project will be composed on three main phases: I.The establishment of the Thematic Working Groups (4) which will be responsible for preparing the key topics of the Presidency conference in cooperation with the International Advisory Board and the Project Steering Committee which will act as the Conference Programme Committee. II.The second phase will be based on two types of activities: - organization of the Thematic Working Groups meetings - organization of the two-day International Presidency Conference which will be based on the input and recommendations generated by Thematic Working Groups. III.The follow up of the project is to create post-conference proceedings and report. It is intended to issue the final report that will present the forward-looking perspective recommendations of the integration process within the EU for policy makers and will present the research needed to be conducted in different spheres of these process'
