 Project objective

Data usage over wireless networks is rapidly increasing as more consumers surf the web, check email and watch video on mobile devices. We do so using apps which content is highly dynamic causing latency issues, increased battery consumption, increased data usage and bandwidth issues in wireless networks.

We have created OptimalFetch, a patented pre-fetch-based technology that provides instant content display while being highly efficient in battery, data, and bandwidth. OptimalFetch overcomes these limitations to enable pre-fetch-based solution that can handle fast changing content, thereby decoupling the content delivery from the content consumption. The end-user experience will drastically improve with our technology being of wide interest for our customer as bandwidth savings will enable mobile operators to improve the connectivity of their entire customer base; mobile device manufactures will use our technology to differentiate their products in a very competitive market; and app developers will use the technology to increase retention rate, customer engagement and sales.

Our founders leveraged their world-class expertise in machine learning, signal processing, wireless and cellular communications and prediction to take our technology to TRL 6. To take OptimalFetch to the market we still need a further investment of €2.5M which will allow us further improve software development, test and scale it up to serve a large number and wider variety of potential mobile industry customers.

The proposed work in Phase 1 of the SME Instrument fits into our overall plan to reach the market by contributing the financial resources needed to plan a fast sound wider deployment of OptimalFetch and its market uptake.

Are you the coordinator (or a participant) of this project? Plaese send me more information about the "OPTIMALFETCH" project.

For instance: the website url (it has not provided by EU-opendata yet), the logo, a more detailed description of the project (in plain text as a rtf file or a word file), some pictures (as picture files, not embedded into any word file), twitter account, linkedin page, etc.

Send me an  email (fabio@fabiodisconzi.com) and I put them in your project's page as son as possible.

Thanks. And then put a link of this page into your project's website.
