Summary

The overall objective of the H2020 Armenia Project was to fill in the gaps of the knowledge, skills and ability to manage innovation processes among Armenian innovative SMEs by increasing their innovation management capacity and providing them more space for growth and internationalization through innovation support services: Services designed to Enhance the Innovation Management Capacities of SMEs (EIMC) and Key Account Management (KAM) services aiming at full exploitation of the innovation potential of the H2020 SME Instrument benefici

Work performed

During the one-year activities 11 clients have been served EIMC services:
Along with these services the clients has received important assistance in preparation of H2020 proposals , consulting and brokerage services, as a result, their vision, methods and resources for turning an idea to innovation result and its commercialization has notably changed. There has been significant improvement in their leadership and management skills, ability to cooperate with R&D partners, clients, and suppliers and to communicate innovation.

Final results

EEN H2020 project has delivered EIMC services to 11 research-driven companies and R&D organizations which benefited from European innovation services, involving European tools, methods and resources having the potential of models and good practice.
The beneficiaries of the EIMC package services received important assistance, consulting services and practical information in order to notably improve their innovation management systems, and thus their vision, methods and resources for turning an idea to innovation result and commercialize it, improve their leadership, management skills, ability to valorise employees’ creativity and innovation, ability to cooperate with third partners and R&D partners, clients, suppliers and to communicate innovation.
From personal interviews with EIMC clients by the end of the project it can be concluded that provided services were positively perceived by selected SMEs. The long-term impact of the project on the beneficiary companies in terms of economic results can be tracked through further monitoring of their performance indicators.
