New tools for handling linked EO data and their evaluation – v2Update on the tools to be developed. They include publishing tools that take as input EO data coming from the Copernicus services and transform it into RDF, tools for interlinking EO data and related geospatial data, tools for querying EO data published as RDF graphs, and tools for visualizing linked EO data. All tools will be available as open source. Programme: H2020-EU.2.1.6.3. - Topic(s): EO-3-2016 |

Copernicus services streaming to the linked data cloud – v2Update on access to Copernicus Services Data as linked open data. Programme: H2020-EU.2.1.6.3. - Topic(s): EO-3-2016 |

Demonstrator with access to the complete data archive from PROBA-V and the Copernicus Global Land Service and Hadoop processing environmentVITO will set up a Virtual Machine on the VITO private cloud with access to the complete data archive from PROBA-V and the Copernicus Global Land Service and Hadoop processing environment at VITO, which Terradue will connect from the platform. Programme: H2020-EU.2.1.6.3. - Topic(s): EO-3-2016 |

First version of handbook and data catalogueA first version of guidelines on making use of the Copernicus App Lab will be published along with a data catalogue explaining which kind of data is useful for which kind of applications. Both will be updated continuously, however the data catalogue will by no means be exhaustive. Programme: H2020-EU.2.1.6.3. - Topic(s): EO-3-2016 |

Tools to enhance, catalogue, and consume geospatial data-streams from CopernicusThe SDL will be extended with Semantic Web standards providing a framework for explicitly describing the data models implicit in EO and other gridded data streams to enhance downstream display and manipulation of data. This also provides a framework where multiple metadata standards can be described. Most importantly, these data models and metadata standards can be interrelated, a key step in creating interoperability, and an important step in being able to ‘re-map’ various metadata formats in compliance with the standards as put forward by the INPIRE Spatial Data Services Working Group. Tools to find and supply geospatial data-streams from Copernicus services to downstream service providersThe Maps-API and SDL (as described in chapter 1.3.1) will be extended, adding a new RESTful Web Services interface to ensure that the original and enhanced geospatial data streams (output of WP 3.1) are easily discoverable and consumable by the downstream services, most notably (but not limited to) the semantic linkage process as part of WP4 where EO data-streams are combined with other open-data and transformed into RDFs to be published in the linked-data cloud.
