Report on life cycle assessmentTo understand the expected reduction in environmental impact of the new technology, Intelligentsia will conduct a life cycle assessment (LCA) study to evaluate and compare the new TADF based OLEDs with existing phosphorescent OLEDs. The LCA will enable quantification of the impacts associated with the use of different raw materials and energy sources, as well as with the emission of contaminants in each life cycle phase of the OLEDs. The LCA will be based on the ReCiPe methodology (www.lcia-recipe.net), which was previously used in the FP7 Fast2light project. Programme: H2020-EU.2.1.1.6. - Topic(s): ICT-29-2014 |
