Local courses to build capacity at national levelThe trainers formed in Task 3.2 will use the training materials delivered as D3.2 to demonstrate the FREEWAT platform capabilities through national workshops. About 650 people will be directly trained to the use of the platform within the EU, 60 in Switzerland, 100 in neighbouring countries (Ukraine and Turkey) and another 80 in Africa (in South Africa, Namibia and Botswana) thanks to the involvement of UNESCO-IHP. As such, courses will also be held in Switzerland at IST-SUPSI or collaborating universities premises. IGRAC will support UNESCO in performing training activities in Africa.
