Boosting know-how capacity in Geoarchaeology and Palaeontology in Croatia

This deliverable will be a report for immediate dissemination, and comprises, in part, of the written reports and teaching materials from the workshops and summer schools (MS2.1, MS2.2, MS2.3, MS2.4), the reports on Pleistocene small mammals in Croatia, Late Pleistocene and Holocene sea-level reconstructions, and the potential of underwater caves along the Eastern Adriatic coast for preserving Pleistocene sediments, as well as the reports on short-term mobilities (MS2.7). The report will promote the incorporation of Geoarchaeology into all phases of archaeological planning, teaching, and research. It will be aimed at government agencies (development planning, heritage management and protection, tourism), institutions of higher education (developing curricula in Geoarchaeology at University level),
and the private sector (archaeological contracting firms). Multimedia presentations will build awareness and interest among the wider public in Geoarchaeology.

Communications and transparency

The aim of this deliverable is to summarise and share with partners the experience and results of monthly project meetings and journal clubs (MS1.10, M33), and the steps taken to ensure that project management was transparent and communicated to partners and the wider public (MS1.11, M34). The report will be for immediate dissemination and will provide a model of managing meetings and promoting the free and transparent flow information within the project and to the general public. It will
be aimed at Croatian institutions in the public and private sectors likely to apply to H2020 programmes, to other EU funding bodies, and/or to Croatian funding agencies.

Building know-how for infrastructural capacity: Archaeogenetics

This deliverable will be a report for immediate dissemination, and comprises, in part, of the written reports, teaching materials, and multimedia presentations from the autumn school (MS3.2) as well as the reports on mobilities (MS3.6). This report will provide recommendations about how to develop the emerging field of Animal Archaeogenetics in Croatia. It will be aimed at European institutions of higher
education (developing curricula and laboratories) and government agencies (agriculture, forestry, veterinary medicine). Multimedia presentations will build awareness and interest in Archaeogenetics among the wider public.

Stimulation of MIT disciplinary approach to the Sciences of the Past

This deliverable will be a report for immediate dissemination, and comprises, in part, of the written reports, teaching materials and presented papers from the workshop (MS4.1, MS4.3) and summer school (MS4.4). The report will demonstrate the added value of taking a MIT disciplinary approach by comparing the outcomes of the workshop (MS4.1, M20) and summer school (MS4.4, M30). The report will be aimed at European institutions of higher education (promoting MIT disciplinary teaching and curricula), publicly-funded research institutes, and government agencies (development planning, heritage management and protection, tourism), private sector (tourist agencies, sustainable archaeological tourism). Multimedia presentations will build awareness and interest in the wider public in the themes

Building know-how GMM research capacity

This deliverable will be a report for immediate dissemination, and comprises, in part, of the written reports, teaching materials, and multimedia presentations from the summer school (MS3.1) as well as the reports on mobilities (MS3.5). The reports will promote the incorporation of GMM into zooarchaeological and palaeontological teaching and research in Croatia and Europe. They will be aimed at European institutions of higher education (e.g. developing curricula that use GMM). Multimedia presentations will build awareness and interest in GMM among the wider public.

Scientific integration of the CrEAMA Initiative to ERA

This deliverable will consists of written reports for immediate dissemination, listing monthly seminars held during the project (MS5.6) and their outcomes, covering final project conference (MS5.8), and final press conference (MS5.9), available on the Project website. Integrating Genetics with Zooarchaeology

This deliverable will be a report for immediate dissemination, and comprises, in part, of the written reports, teaching materials, and multimedia presentations from the summer school (MS3.3) and workshop (M3.4), as well as the reports on team building (MS3.3, M3.4). The report will provide an example of good practice for the integration of other disciplines and an assessment of the state of the art of Archaeogenetics and Zooarchaeology in Croatia, in order to effectively prepare for H2020 proposals. It will be aimed at institutions of higher education (developing integrated and MIT disciplinary curricula) and government agencies (agriculture, forestry, veterinary sciences). Popularisation of the Sciences of the Past

This deliverable will be a report for public dissemination, and the CrEAMA Initiative website. Report will document media coverage of the Kick-off press conference (MS5.1), summarise public lectures (MS5.5), media communication (MS5.10), and museum exhibitions accompanied by exhibitions’ booklets (MS5.4). The report will be for immediate dissemination and provide a model of good practice in how to manage and maximise project dissemination. It will be aimed at European museums and other heritage brokers in the public and private sectors.

Integrating Genetics with Archaeobotany in Croatia

Integrating the Sciences of the Past with sustainable tourism

This deliverable will comprise written reports for immediate dissemination, detailing assessment analyses of heritage potentials (MS5.3), reporting development of local implementation strategies (MS5.12), recording dissemination of our practices to a wider region (MS5.13), and quantifying impact of the integration practices (MS5.14). In addition, the developed content will be publicly available on the Project website. The reports will provide models and recommendations for assessing heritage
potentials and quantifying the impact of integration practices. They will be aimed at European institutions of higher education, government agencies (culture, tourism), NGOs, museums, and other heritage brokers in the public and private sectors.

Mobility management
