‘Tips and Tricks’ brochuresRANNIS will prepare short brochures including ‘tips and tricks’ for writing proposals for the different MSCAs (M03, M06) that aim towards increasing the visibility of MSCAs, motivate the research community for future calls while aiming towards increasing the general quality of applications by providing applicants writing proposals with constructive advice and encouragement. Report on training sessions and webinarsThe content of the training sessions will take into account the different knowledge of trainees, training sessions already performed and the best practice seminars foreseen in WP3. A feedback form to assess the quality and the efficacy of the training sessions will be collected and analysed by the supporting partner managing and hosting the specific slot of training, in order to improve the training contents’ quality, equipment and material distributed. Supporting responsible partners are required to draft a report on the basis of this analysis; these reports will form the base for drafting the intermediate and final report on trainings. Final Report on the Google Group activities.The aim of this task is to develop and maintain a Google Group (GG) dedicated to MSCA within H2020. The experiences of the past two NCP projects proved that this ad-hoc, informally created instrument was one of the most effective tools used daily by the MCA NCPs. It was evaluated by NCPs as one of the most valuable outcomes of the PEOPLE NCP projects, thanks to the possibility of receiving prompt answers and getting straight to the point. Within this project a more structured way to proceed with the Google Group is foreseen. The GG will serve as a forum where all the MSCA NCPs can post and discuss questions and problems related to the MSCA applications, project implementation, and political issues which lay behind the Actions. The project Coordinator will create the new GG for all the nominated MSCA NCPs (Task 1.2) and the Task leader (IPPT PAN) will maintain it. To increase its impact moderators (implemented at M1) will: (1) Monitor and answer every question sent to the GG within 2 working days; (2) Initiate discussions and answer other questions sent directly to task members and questions concerning inconsistencies in official documents (GfA, WP, GA). The foreseen average number of such questions will be 3 per month. Moderators will forward questions that they cannot answer to NPCs experienced in the topic (following the results of Task 2.1 Benchmarking) or to the stakeholders (REA, EC, IPR Helpdesk). The questions to the REA and the EC will be prepared in cooperation with Task 4.2 (Working Group: REA-EC-NCP). The most interesting issues raised will serve as input for the best practice meetings. First and final analysis report on benchmarkingThis task’s goal is to determine NCPs weak and strong points and training needs to create a base for trainings and twinning activities and, if needed, for the best practice seminars (Task 3.3). This will be done with an online questionnaire (D2.1) in M02. It will be developed with the support of the subtask leader IPPT-PAN and the sub task leader 2.1.1, BUAS, and will be based on state-of-the-art modelling of questionnaires used in the methodologies of the social sciences. The analysis of the data will take place during M03 and the results will determine the training topics (Task 2.3) and the match of trainers and trainees (see also task 2.1.1), D2.2 by M05. The Twinning visits (Task 2.4) will be also based on the outcome of this task. Whenever new MSCA NCPs join the network they will fill in the questionnaire as well in order to determine their needs and help develop the Welcome Package (T2.4). Set-up of internal communication tool Google Mailing listConstant and daily contacts via email, telephone, the project web site functionalities (restricted area for NCPs) and other dedicated tools such as the Google mailing lists will assure the communication flow within Net4Mobility. To better manage the communication flow, Euresearch will develop 3 different Google mailing lists at the start of the project: the first will be dedicated to SC members, the second to GA members, and the third to all NCPs (beneficiary and Partner Organisations). These mailing lists will be updated regularly. The restricted area for NCPs in the project’s website will be used for sharing common documents and information within the Network, such as e.g. the minutes of the SC meetings after they have been adopted. Success stories as Video-ClipsVideo-clips with two success stories of FP7 PEOPLE and four success stories of H2020 MSCA projects will be prepared by MATIMOP-ISERD (total 6 video-clips). Impressive and unique success stories will be gathered from all NCPs in M05, for FP7 PEOPLE projects and in M16 and M24 for H2020 MSCAs. One video-clip M10: FP7 ITN and COFUND, M24: H2020 RISE and/or EF, M30: H2020 ITN (one of the other types) and/or COFUND (PhD) and/or GF and/or RISE. These video-clips will be uploaded on the project’s website, the social media, as well as presented at Task 4.4 events and will be available for the NCPs to be used at national/ regional events (M10, M24, M30). BPS Interim ‘Best Practice Guide’.Over the years individual NCPs have developed expertise in specific areas. These specific knowledge and expertise will be shared in Best Practice Seminars with the whole network. A large audience (35 or more NCPs) will attend the seminars and thus complement the smaller-scale knowledge-sharing of the Twinnings (Task 2.3). As compared to Task 2.2 (where one or two NCPs/external experts act as trainers) up to 5 or more NCPs will contribute to the Seminars, depending on the subject. The task leader (IUA) will develop a first work plan (M06) describing the schedule, contents, locations and the responsible supporting partner. Six Seminars are planned (two per year) and to reduce travel costs, they will be organised taking into account other project or NCP events. Each supporting partner will be responsible for managing one Seminar, in close collaboration with the Task Leader. The task members will define the content and presenters for each Seminar, taking into account (1) the Benchmarking results from Task 2.1; (2) best practices identified during Twinnings (Task 2.3); (3) input from the open questions in the Google Group (Task 3.1); (4) input from the working group REA-EC-NCP (Task 4.2) and other input as deemed appropriate by IUA. IUA will liaise with APRE to ensure that the content does not mirror that of the trainings in Task 2.2. The format of the 1-day Seminar will be flexible depending on the topic, but it is likely to include the following: presentation of best practice examples by NCPs; discussion and Q&A sessions; demonstration of tips or techniques by NCPs; working in groups. The organiser will assess the seminar quality and efficacy using feedback forms filled by participants. The outcome of each seminar will be a best practice report prepared by the responsible supporting partner, and will be distributed among MSCA NCPS after each seminar. The reports will be included in the overall Best Practice Guide to be prepared and maintained by IUA and published on the dedicated project website. Report on twinning visitsThe objective of this subtask is to monitor the quality of the twining visits performed in all its aspects (technical and logistical) in order to improve the quality of the twining visits. All twinning participants will be required to fill in an evaluation form (D2.6), which will be designed and analysed by ASRT after each twining visit. Final Report on networking activitiesIn the framework of this activity a communication channel with other relevant NCPs\' networks and an agreement to work together, optimising a systematic exchange of information and experiences will be sought. To reach this aim, the leader APRE will collaborate with other colleagues working at the same premises that are active members in the majority of future H2020 NCPs Networks/projects. A first internal meeting will be organised in M06 with APRE representative of all NCPs networks, to set up a work plan for the mutual collaboration. This might include signposting for assistance services, but also web links on both MSCA new dedicated web site and other thematic NCP sites. Sharing of information and collaboration on the promotion of partner searches in case of future joint calls and funding opportunities is envisaged. This activity will also serve as a basis to foster collaboration with the NCP Academy, to be developed within the legal and financial NCP Network (please also see WP2 trainings). Update of existing SoMe-Platforms and set-up of Youtube ChannelIn WP5 ‘Communication and Networking’ in the former NCP Project PeopleNetwork+ we gained considerable experience with the presence of the project on the platforms Twitter (114 followers for PN+), FB (180 ‘Likes’ for PN+), LinkedIn (147 members) and the FAQ-Blog (102,693 views by now). As the internal project communication will also be carried out by Euresearch in their function as coordinator (WP1), synergies can be created and smooth and efficient communication towards all the target groups (the scientific community and their support structure, future beneficiaries, any other stakeholders) is guaranteed. IPPT-PAN (PL) will support the task leader by feeding the blog with the output of the Google group mentoring (Task 3.1) and the best practice seminars (T3.3.).
