Rheology studies of organic and polymer RFBs (v1)

Lead by CNRS-LRP. Rheological analysis for developed electrolytes under different processing conditions, in particular flow-rates and temperature will be realized by LRP-ESR1.

Test cell optimized for organic flow battery system

A prototype cell, equipped with gaskets from UOS-ESR1 and the membrane from LEP-ESR1, will be developed by JEN-ESR1 with conventional and rapid prototyping techniques.

Ionomer membranes with improved functional properties and stability (v1)

Lead by CNRS-LEPMI. LEP-ESR1 will develop and characterize a suitable membrane with cation or anion grafted on the hydrophilic chains.

Optimized anode for oxygen evolution in a 3-electrode Zn air battery

JM-ESR1 will test the GDEs as cathodes in a three-electrode setup battery and as both cathode and anode (bifunctional air electrode) in a two-electrode setup.

Study on the effect of organic and inorganic additive on discharge behaviour (v1)

The detramental effects of ZnO dentrites to the performance of RFB will be avoided by investigating the effect of the addition of inorganic additives (i.e. CaO or MgO), polymers as well as surfactants.
