Review of the applicable regulatory and policy conditions in the MIREU regionsBased on the information the insights from the Min-Lex study, the MINATURA2020 results, the Minland project (starting Dec 1, 2017) and specific inputs from the MIREU regions, a comprehensive map of the prevailing regulatory and policy regime will be developed, covering the whole mine life-cycle and metallurgical value chain. Assessment of skills requirements and availability in the MIREU regionsA concise overview over the current and likely future specific skills requirements in a modern mining industry. This review will also investigate how and where these skills are being acquired, namely through vocational, academic or on the job training. In addition, the review will cover the basic education required in order to be able to enter into the specific training. The MIREU regions will be scrutinised with respect to their existing skill base and the educational and training facilities available. MIREU Project identity including a logo, and templatesto ensure a common identity throughout the MIREU communication activities, a concise visual identity will be developed, including a project logo, presentation and document templates and website design. All promotional items will use the visual instructions for using the logo, etc. The graphic elements should give the project a clear, positive and dynamic image and should be easy to adjust to various types of communication materials and tools. In addition, a presentation template will be created to show the project and its results with the aim of ensuring a coherent and harmonised “corporate identityâ€.
