Summary

WonderLogix Studio is an end-to-end environment for industrial process design, simulation and PLC programming. With WonderLogix, you can define the requirements in plain English and automatically generate top-quality PLC code and 100% accurate documentation.
OUR VISION: Become the Standard DevOps Software Platform for Industrial Automation.

In order to reach the company’s goals, we aim to achieve the following from 2018-2020:

1. Pre-release version
2. Validate the technology with pilot customers
3. Reach market-ready product release
4. Achieve simulation in a real HMI
5. Incorporate a billing system to the web app
6. Protect the invention by means of available IPR mechanisms
7. Finalize at least two different distribution agreements in each of the target markets (US and Europe)
8. Reach at least 100 pilots who will provide feedback for the development team
9. Build an online community to increase awareness in potential users

Work performed

So far, a completely functioning pre-release version has been launched. This version of the program runs on a common PC environment and standard web connection.
In 2018-2019, we had 18 successful pilots working with the program. The pilots come from different kinds of industries and facilities: four biotech companies, three industrial control companies, energy, utilities, water.

Every pilot and each user give us feedback and more room for improvements to be programmed. Over the past year, five versions of the program were released and 15 new features were added, most of them according to feedback we got from our clients and partners.
The latest version is available for purchase on our website: https://wonderlogix.com/pricing-new/.
In 2019, we applied to register WonderLogix as an Automated Control Process Patent in the USA, China, Europe, Hong Kong and Israel. The name “WonderLogix” was registered in Israel on April 4, 2018. The company logo was filed for registration in the USA under application serial No. 88194932. Now in the objections stage, no conflicts have been found so far.

Our worldwide distribution network has started to grow in the past 12 months. The company’s distributors are from different areas of expertise: water treatment, integrators, software distribution, etc. All of them have connections and leads in relevant fields.
In 2019, WonderLogix held four public webinars. Each webinar attracted about 300-400 registrants, 120-150 attendees and 30-50 people who downloaded a free trial-version license. These webinars were a great tool for drawing applicants to our Certification and Affiliation Programs. Some of the webinar attendees became distributors or pilots.

Webinars were also used to make important announcements and demonstrate new features and developments (such as the Siemens compiler and the emulator). See the last webinar for an example.
The WonderLogix platform has recently expanded and now supports Siemens TIA Portal. With this latest integration, Siemens Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) can now leverage the advantages of the WonderLogix software platform for easier, safer and more cost-effective industrial automation design. WonderLogix’s ability to support Siemens PLCs is due in large part to the $2.2M USD equity-free investment awarded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 SME program.

When combined with the current support for Rockwell Automation’s PLCs, the WonderLogix platform is now available to a vast majority of PLC implementations worldwide.
Now it’s time to branch out to Europe. By Q4 2019, the company expects to have a fully functioning front office in Berlin that will push sales forward to Europe by setting up meetings with potential customers and partners.

The German office will also represent the company in relevant trade fairs. Germany will be the headquarters for a network of distributors and integrators that we will partner with.

Final results

Although code programming and process design sounds technical and quite irrelevant to most people, it is related to all of us. The food we eat, the water we drink, the electricity we use – all of the above are the fruits of industrial design. Improving the results of the programming process would have a huge socio-economic impact. Here is a sneak peek at the numbers:

• €16B is the annual cost of managing unscheduled downtime and accidents across process industries.
• 70% of delays in the commissioning of industrial projects are attributed to errors in PLC code.
• 20% of accidents in industrial control plants are due to programming errors.

By adopting WonderLogix, you can save time, money and, most importantly, human lives.

Or as said by one of our clients (Unilever): “Commissioning the system was completed successfully in just two hours, and without making any change to the automatically generated code!”
