 Project objective

All electronic devices emit interference that if left un-controlled would cause them to not function correctly. Products must pass stringent emissions standards to control this interference. Even some of the most experienced EMC (ElectroMagnetic Compatibility) test and design Engineers can spend many hours investigating and experimenting with solutions to pass such tests. The field is complex, constantly requiring new solutions and is sometimes called ‘mysterious magic’ by Electrical and Electronic Design Engineers. Trial and error is common practice for finding the solutions. Today, ever faster computational performance is leading to ever increasing emissions. The emissions standards are changing and evolving to adapt, but engineers and companies are using tools and techniques that are 30 years old. Product design companies are spending ever increasing amounts of time and money attempting to control the emissions and products struggle to be launched successfully. At Emzer, we wish to launch EMWORK, a product that will not only automate and massively speed up the actual emissions measurement, but it will also automatically design the correct filter solution for a given product to allow it to meet emissions standards. Based on the results of years of research work from Doctors in Electromagnetic Compatibility with industrial experience, we aim to drive a revolution in EMC. The market for EMC test-equipment has been valued at $ 1.38 billion worldwide with very strong growth predictions. Supported by Wavecontrol, a company with 20 years of experience supplying EMC equipment, we aim to achieve 1% of our target market by 2023, achieving sales of 10.3 MEUR and 25 employees. With SME Phase 1 we wish to fully ‘stress-test’ our conclusions and develop a more solid business plan for defining our route to market and the funding to support it.

Are you the coordinator (or a participant) of this project? Plaese send me more information about the "EMWORK" project.

For instance: the website url (it has not provided by EU-opendata yet), the logo, a more detailed description of the project (in plain text as a rtf file or a word file), some pictures (as picture files, not embedded into any word file), twitter account, linkedin page, etc.

Send me an  email (fabio@fabiodisconzi.com) and I put them in your project's page as son as possible.

Thanks. And then put a link of this page into your project's website.

The information about "EMWORK" are provided by the European Opendata Portal: CORDIS opendata.
