While in online world the capacity to track the behaviour of the client is well developed (i.e. Google Analytics), in physical spaces there is an absolute lack of accurate information that allows mall managers and tenant businesses to take data-based decisions. So, they are managing in a non-efficient way and losing money. That’s why Cubelizer was born.
Regarding the objectives of the project, the work performed was:
1. Market & Business feasibility: We dived into different markets and geographies further than we did in the past regarding with mall sector, met many mall managers and owners during the project. Even when the feedback outside Spain was better, a slow adoption and just current medium willingness to pay were detected in this segment. That is why we explored new segments, and even re-oriented our business model after driving a strategic analysis process. We identified a Real Estate segment eager to find solutions to better understand space performance: flexible workplaces. We drove more than ten meetings with outstanding players, understood their problems and we can address them in a straight way.
2. echnological & Practical feasibility: We set the specific requirements for the industrialization process, identified its critical points, started contact with key manufacturers, estimated the cost of the process and resources involved. We detected the limitations of our technology and we are ready for manufacturing to guarantee the performance and reduce costs. Because of the learning during the project, we redefined our technological roadmap and developments aligned with new customers’ segment needs and with scalability.
3. Financial feasibility: We re-worked our financial plan, also considering the new focus into workplaces. We concluded our financial feasibility study, also identifying our investment needs.
Our main competitors are delivering value basically providing just information about occupancy and utilization. Our value proposal, thanks to our tech and functionalities, is focused on a higher strategic view and business information that make our solution unique. We are answering and we want to answer questions about how workspace design impacts organizational productivity and occupiers’ wellbeing. This is what drives our roadmap.
