 Project objective

Farmers and critical community infrastructure depend on constant reliable power supply. In Europe, severe weather conditions and climate change have led to a surge in power outages. These outages can have devastating consequences. For instance, if the cooling of a piglet stable lasts more than 30 minutes, the entire stock overheats and dies. Many farms and critical infrastructure personnel, as a precaution, have installed emergency power generators. These include internal combustion generators, powerpacks and PTO generators that cannot be controlled remotely. Schneeberger is a pioneer in PTO generators: it engineered the first PTO generator for the agricultural sector. and carries 21 types of PTO generators. Farmers and public services simply need to connect the PTO generators to their tractors. Our technology is so advanced that it allows for our PTO generators to be used in the field as well. We are also the only ones that have equipped PTO generators with a proprietary circuit board. We want to make PTO generators smart and up-to-date with the IoT trend. We want to develop a mobile app and an application to review the status on the computer, which allows remote control and a quick reaction time. Impending regulatory changes as well as a trend towards IoT and ever more severe weather conditions have motivated us to scale up our PTO generators to make them smart and launch them to various verticals. Traditionally, PTO generator focused on the farming sector - a potential market of 12.2 million farmers in the EU. And by offering PTO generators for additional verticals in critical infrastructure (community and municipality institutions, kindergartens, schools, etc.), we would create the non-farming PTO generator market. Our Schneeberger IoT PTO generators can contribute to a more sustainable emergency power supply, to a safer power supply, and to a wider adoption of power supply solutions in critical infrastructures.

Are you the coordinator (or a participant) of this project? Plaese send me more information about the "SCHNEEBERGER" project.

For instance: the website url (it has not provided by EU-opendata yet), the logo, a more detailed description of the project (in plain text as a rtf file or a word file), some pictures (as picture files, not embedded into any word file), twitter account, linkedin page, etc.

Send me an  email (fabio@fabiodisconzi.com) and I put them in your project's page as son as possible.

Thanks. And then put a link of this page into your project's website.
