Energy consumption and review tool for vulnerable consumers

Development of 5 energy monitoring tools for vulnerable consumers.
A comprehensive review exercise of existing paper and Excel-based energy monitoring tools will be undertaken by the WP leader. This review, together with the experiences of the consortium members and the feedback received from the stakeholder seminars will lead to the adaptation of a paper-based tool to aid vulnerable consumers in the monitoring of their energy consumption, enabling them to understand their consumption and to act to reduce it. The tool will enable the users to compare their energy consumption to that of typical households of the same size.
The monitoring tool will afterwards be adapted by each partner to reflect local requirements, information displayed on the smart meter, and will also take into account literacy levels of the main target group. Each partner will be responsible for the development of the tool for his/her country, with guidance provided by the WP leader.
