Career and Industry DayCareer & Industry Day. The idea of this unique short event is to make the fellows aware of and prepared for specific job opportunities in Europe, both in industry and academia. Best practices of successful job fairs, such as Talents in Germany (www.talents.de), will be taken into account for Career Day organisation. Hosted by the industry partner Acesion, this day will bring together a selection of potential employers from the pharmaceutical industry, applied research institutes, SMEs in e.g. numerical simulation together with the graduating AFib-TrainNet fellows. ESRs will get a clearer picture of career opportunities and challenges, direct contact to both small and large industrial actors and research institutes, and learn more about the different expectations and requirements associated with each. National Public-Private Partnerships (for instance, the European ScreeningPort in Germany, Association of the Pharmaceutical Industry in Norway, among many others) will be actively involved in the preparation of the event and its advertisement.
