Data Management Plan

A preliminary version of the LICCI Data Management Plan (DMP) was prepared on the 4th of December 2017 describing the main elements of the data management policy that will be used by the project’s team with regard to all the data sets that will be generated by the project. LICCI will collect field data in 40 sites regarding local knowledge of climate change impacts on physical (e.g., shrinking glaciers) and biological systems (e.g., phenological changes) and on perceptions of climate change impacts on socioeconomic systems (e.g., crop failure due to rainfall patterns change). Data will be used to test hypotheses on the global spatial, socioeconomic and demographic distribution of local climate change impacts indicators. Accordingly, within six months of the start of the project.

A reviewed version of the LICCI Data Management shall be submitted on month 6th, specifically addressing 1) Making data Findable; 2) Making data openly Accessible, 3) Making data Interoperable, and 4) Increase data Re-use. In any case, datasets containing personal data will remain closed. Further updates to the data management plan will be submitted together with the mid-term and final scientific reports or whenever important changes to the project occur.
