Summary

Securing the right talent is one of the most important challenges for companies in order to maintain their competitive edge in the global economy. Technological advances change job skills and an agile labour force motivates a candidate driven recruiting process. Employers are seeking solutions capable of 1) identifying the right candidate 2) increasing recruiting efficiency and speed 3) facilitating a fair and unbiased process. To ensure that PeerPilot meets market needs, the goals of the feasibility study was to validate the value proposition of the service and identify key requirements to be addressed in Phase 2, which focus is service maturation. The study clearly sated a need which has the potential to be answered by PeerPilot’s automated and case-driven recruiting approach. Furthermore, did the study secure market leading large-scale trial partners and global sales partners for Phase 2.

Work performed

The purpose of the feasibility study was to identify requirements and challenges for large market uptake of PeerPilot. It was facilitated by executing a number of live trials. The study included three main phases:
1. Facilitate trials which were compared to a traditional recruiting process. The trials showed consistency in PeerPilot’s ability to identify top talent, in increasing efficiency and in eliminating bias.
2. The trials were followed up with in-depth clients interviews, identifying key service-model and platform requirements for maturation of PeerPilot. Outlining regulatory requirements and policy compliance and securing appropriate expert resources.
3. Securing partnerships for large scale trials with >5 multinational high-growth enterprises. Developing a OEM business model and securing two possible value added resale partnerships with global recruiting companies.

Final results

The study has demonstrated strong indications that PeerPilot’s patented solution may have the potential to eliminate manual screenings with tailored peers-assessment and has established PeerPilot as a pioneer within this field. PeerPilot has the potential to significantly improve companies competitiveness in identifying talent fast, efficiently, unbiased, and in a way that is aligned with today’s digital economy. However, further maturation in Phase 2 will allow PeerPilot to realize this potential internationally and to grow the company in Europe. The fair and democratic principles embedded in PeerPilot reverses the usual process of elimination with a process of inclusion by searching for appropriate skills and behaviour in candidates. The approach has the power to evaluate every candidate on equal terms and to eliminate bias and discrimination. This approach has been further validated by market inquiries regarding PeerPilot\'s ability to job qualify military veterans, unemployed talent and migrants.
