 Project objective

Miljøskærm is a Danish SME having independently developed an innovative concept and solution for recycling of discarded wind turbine blades and developed products applying the recycled material as acoustic absorbent material in noise barriers and for thermal insulation purposes. Today, more than 95% of discarded wind turbine blades and other composite materials go to landfill with significant negative environmental and economic impacts. On a global scale it is estimated that 400.000 tonnes of blades alone will reach their end-of-service life during the period of 2020-2030. Our solution comprises development of purpose-built technology for processing of end-of-life wind turbine blades to produce a glass fibre granulate and applying this in products meeting specified requirements for acoustic and thermal insulating performance. Our initial end-products are noise barriers which has created a starting point for Miljøskærm’s business in Denmark. We are now in a process of developing an innovative thermal insulation product with rodent repellent properties and this will enable us to scale up our production capacity and to expand into the EU. The aim of the SME Phase 1 project is to assess the technical, commercial and financial feasibility of our thermal insulation product with rodent repellent properties. If feasible, we estimate the company will be capable of reaching an accumulated profit of €88M in 2027.

Are you the coordinator (or a participant) of this project? Plaese send me more information about the "GREEN-INSULATION" project.

For instance: the website url (it has not provided by EU-opendata yet), the logo, a more detailed description of the project (in plain text as a rtf file or a word file), some pictures (as picture files, not embedded into any word file), twitter account, linkedin page, etc.

Send me an  email (fabio@fabiodisconzi.com) and I put them in your project's page as son as possible.

Thanks. And then put a link of this page into your project's website.
