 Project objective

Founded in 2012, BAT’IPAC is a French company whose vision is to create a construction business good for economy, ecology and society. Our core and innovative product, the IPAC, satisfies precisely the core values of our company. IPAC is a lightweight construction material made of recycled corrugated cardboard sheets presenting exceptional thermal, acoustic and structural properties allowing it to be used for wall/floor/roof construction and insulation. It is made of 95% recycled materials and is 100% recyclable post dismantling. Due to its controlled manufacturing process, it significantly decreases CO2 production, and has a positive impact on the local economy and society by including the disabled and unprivileged groups in its production process. In the rapidly growing housing demand across the globe, IPAC provides a great sustainable alternative to the traditional, highly pollutant construction materials that are concrete, bricks or steel. Our Phase 1 project will be dedicated to craft the most suitable commercialisation, dissemination and international expansion strategy. In Phase 2, aside of the commercial activities, we are planning to concentrate on optimising our technology, obtaining the necessary certificates and gaining reliable test data that would encourage architects and engineers to use our IPAC construction material. IPAC is expected to generate 58.2 million€ revenues (representing > 880,000 IPAC sold) after 5 years of operation.
