'To meet the objectives of the Researchers’ Night 2007, the following types of activities will be organized: 1. Ask a researcher! a nationwide collection of questions to scientists, answered by scientists during a national public radio debate (WP 2). 2. Nationwide drawing competition with the exhibition of best works, winners announced at the Researchers’ Night (WP 3). 3. Basic studies and researchers, small groups meetings, discussions and workshops in various fields (WP 4). 4. From science to applications, small groups meetings and workshops in applied science (WP 5). 5. Science and education, various forms of education in museums, the molecular biology laboratory for teenagers, and didactic university experiments.(WP6). Special programs for kids, (WP3, WP5, WP7, WP9). 6. Young researchers informal meetings, happenings, workshops when young researchers will establish close intellectual contact with young public looking for their life carrier (WP 7). 7. Researchers for a civic society meetings and workshops in small groups with sociologists and psychologists concerning processes when civic society is formed. A sociological game will be played, targeted to general public and to trendsetters (WP 8). 8. Science could be fun, presentations of various sides of science in an attractive form of games, contests, demonstrations, directed to kids but also to adult audience, “family activities” (WP 9). 9. Science and art. Mutual interactions of science and art will be exemplified by theater play, films, and in National Museum, proving that arts and science are two faces of human civilization. (WP 10) 10. Informal discourses in form of science cafés about philosophy, physics, art museum (WP 11). Researchers will show personal interests and hobbies. Information about Night distributed through Internet Festival Newsletter, Polish Press Agency, Journalists’ Association, Polish Public Radio and the newspaper “Gazeta Wyborcza”.
