This project will investigate vital new approaches to preparation of ion sensors that will alleviate problems associated with chemical measurements in clinical chemistry and environmental monitoring. Two years of this fellowship will be spent in Australia and one year in Ireland, undergoing two-way transfers of knowledge. Secondments to industry relevant to ion sensor development and manufacture will be undertaken. Stable, robust sensor devices that employ new solid state contact materials incorporated within user-friendly microfluidic devices will be achieved. Such devices are needed to improve critical care and biomedical diagnostics as well as ensuring safe water around the world. The specific goals of this project are to synthesise a range of new redox materials that are designed as solid contacts in ion sensors, to evaluate the performance of such sensors in clinical and environmental settings, and to integrate such sensors into multi-channel microfluidic systems to achieve in-field robust measurements. The new sensor systems of this project will provide vital improvements in reliable ion sensing capabilities.
Are you the coordinator (or a participant) of this project? Plaese send me more information about the "VITAL-ISE" project.
For instance: the website url (it has not provided by EU-opendata yet), the logo, a more detailed description of the project (in plain text as a rtf file or a word file), some pictures (as picture files, not embedded into any word file), twitter account, linkedin page, etc.
Send me an email (fabio@fabiodisconzi.com) and I put them in your project's page as son as possible.
Thanks. And then put a link of this page into your project's website.
