'The main aim of the project is to help to enable the Central European aeronautical research establishments, universities and companies to cooperate with each other and to integrate more to the European research arena. This objective will be achieved via two workshops held in Central Europe to enable many local experts to participate.
The organisers will rely on the CEARES Network, set up during the CEARES Project (FP7 1st of April 2008 till 31st of March 2010).
The timing of the two workshops foreseen for the project will be related to the upcoming aeronautical calls of the European Commission. The first one, planned to be organised in Vienna will precede the 4th AAT call, while the second one, which would take place in Warsaw will be related to the 5th AAT call. Both workshops will address more topics besides the FP AAT calls, for example Clean Sky, SESAR, Marie Curie actions, EUREKA, infrastructural funds and bilateral co-operations.
The organisers will take the advantage of the contact data base of the former CEARES project and expect a wide interest for the workshops. The outcome of the project will be new co-operations within the region and also between Central Europe and other European regions. The events will facilitate research co-operations in general, common project proposals with increased Central and Eastern European participation for the upcoming calls and other research programmes.'
