 Project objective

Redwave is a breakthrough oscillometric solution which measures cBP, by combining a regular homecare BP monitor, with an algorithm, which uses the oscillating pressure curves of any BP monitor conducted in inflating and deflating process as input signals without any changes in the pumping protocol or in the hardware. The algorithm is based on an advanced development of Pulse Wave Analysis, a method already used in clinics and specialized practices which is matching the requirements e.g. in robustness and accuracy, of the non-controlled environment as it typically exists in home care measurements. For this reason, it enables the measurement of cBP in home care devices for the first time. It is the only solution which can be operated in a standard BP monitor without applying any changes to the BP monitor, because it detects the relevant information within the existing signal and processes this information. End users of the solution are people suffering from hypertension: they need a solution to help them manage their condition: in Europe, there are approximately 85M potential users of the solution. After receiving requests to use the algorithm in medical cohort trials, Redwave has a clear route to market entry by the end of 2018. The company is also aiming to increase its product portfolio with another algorithm for wrist BP devices by 2019, as it wants to continue developing R&D actions. From these efforts, new market opportunities will be assessed as the company's goal is to develop an entire family of algorithms around one core, which can be used in various devices and provide a variety of medical parameters to the users.

Are you the coordinator (or a participant) of this project? Plaese send me more information about the "REDWAVE" project.

For instance: the website url (it has not provided by EU-opendata yet), the logo, a more detailed description of the project (in plain text as a rtf file or a word file), some pictures (as picture files, not embedded into any word file), twitter account, linkedin page, etc.

Send me an  email (fabio@fabiodisconzi.com) and I put them in your project's page as son as possible.

Thanks. And then put a link of this page into your project's website.
