Next Industries’ mission is to improve the Internet of things (IoT) ecosystems and add value to its users and environment. We currently live in an era where more “things” are connected to the internet than people. The gesture control wearable technology is at the beginning of the IoT revolution, where day-to-day devices can connect and interact over the internet. Currently, the smart wearables market is facing “the wearable gap” created by lack of universal connectivity and poor accuracy. Next industries simplifies the man-machine interface and is readily accessible to users of all ages and backgrounds, ranging from computer novice to technology-savvy. T-Skin is a versatile, open source tool equipped with an AI algorithm, to increases performance in gesture capture in any environment. There is a significant interest in universal gesture controllers, which depending on the technological skillset of the end user would be part of the wearable device or the IoT microcontroller makers. The immense market opportunities is illustrated by benchmark sales of the MYO bracelet, the first universal gesture device, which sold 14000 units in its introduction year 2014. The discontinuation of MYO in 2016 has left behind a substantial market gap and a huge opportunity for similar devices. Next industry aims to sell T-Skin directly to customers via: 1) their own webpage, 2) dedicated websites such as huckster.io and 3) customer engagement during tech-events and hackathons. Through a similar manner we have already sold 2500 units of Tactigon ONE, the core microcontroller of T-Skin, since its commercialization in 2017. Following demonstration at CES Las Vegas 2019, the world’s most influential tech event, 1500 leads for T-Skin registered via the webpage. In this project, Next industries aims to perform detailed analysis of the market and refine their primary and secondary market entry strategy. The feasibility study will result in a strengthened business plan for marketing of T-Skin.
