 Project objective

INGENIA is a company that has been dedicated to the science of Motion Control since 2006. We design and manufacture electronic solutions that answer to the industry need for increasingly complex, high-tech motion control applications. We are proud to say that our technology has been integrated by leading machine manufacturers around the world in the most challenging industries. Our success has much to do with the relationships that we build with companies that are at the forefront of innovation, like Google, Apple, Samsung, H&P, Boeing, Thales or Kongsberg among others. Understanding and exchanging ideas with our partners is key to what we do.

Ingenia’s vision is to make the world smarter, safer and more energy-efficient and, together with that aim, to give our clients a competitive edge, INGENIA is preparing the launch of MATTERHORN, a compact electronic thruster controller specially designed for Underwater Vehicles. The MATTERHORN project rationale is to offer a new disruptive thruster control technology that covers the unsatisfied needs of the Underwater Electric Vehicles market, requiring fully submerged equipment, ready for harsh environments, pressure tolerant and with high efficiency and miniature size due to space constraints. Compared to currently existing solutions, MATTERHORN will be up to 3 times more efficient, up to 50% less expensive, up to 3 times smaller and will simplify the vehicles construction thanks to its unique pressure tolerant design, thus creating a space of no competition. MATTERHORN will allow European industries to remain competitive and capitalize on new markets. The project is currently in Technology Readiness Level (TRL) between 6 and 7, and should reach TRL9 within an 16-month timeframe.

Are you the coordinator (or a participant) of this project? Plaese send me more information about the "MATTERHORN" project.

For instance: the website url (it has not provided by EU-opendata yet), the logo, a more detailed description of the project (in plain text as a rtf file or a word file), some pictures (as picture files, not embedded into any word file), twitter account, linkedin page, etc.

Send me an  email (fabio@fabiodisconzi.com) and I put them in your project's page as son as possible.

Thanks. And then put a link of this page into your project's website.
