The global nanovesicles market size was valued at $1.18 billion in 2016 and is expected to witness an attractive CAGR of 7.2% until 2021.
However, the current procedures for producing nanovesicles exhibit the following drawbacks: i) Do not allow for small volume (require at least 10 ml production), ii) Have low reproducibility, iii) Require various sub-processes and many man hours, leading to variable results based on who has carried out the procedure; iv) Are expensive (it is often necessary to create a small number of nanovesicles given that the compounds that they encapsulate are extremely expensive); and v) Are non-scalable (not only have problems with scaling up to large quantities, but also with producing small quantities).
We at Nanovex Biotechnologies, increasingly disappointed with the current technologies for producing nanovesicles, have designed and prototyped NanoGo, a piece of microfluidics equipment that produces nanovesicles faster, better and at lower cost, for industrial applications.
NanoGo is capable of producing small volumes (0.5 ml) to large volumes (4 liters/day) of nanovesicles. In addition, NanoGo has many other advantages: i) High reproducibility: The automation of the process allows you to obtain nanovesicles with reproducible characteristics (size, encapsulation efficiency, distribution). The result is the same regardless of who uses it and how many times you repeat the procedure; ii) Rapid process: Requires just 20 minutes to produce 50 ml of nanovesicles; iii) Ease of use: Anyone can do so with no knowledge of formulation; iv) Low cost. Requires a low volume of samples per experiment; v) Very easy to scale up. It is quite simple to increase the scale (1 to 100 chips -for instance- working in parallel).
Are you the coordinator (or a participant) of this project? Plaese send me more information about the "NANOGO" project.
For instance: the website url (it has not provided by EU-opendata yet), the logo, a more detailed description of the project (in plain text as a rtf file or a word file), some pictures (as picture files, not embedded into any word file), twitter account, linkedin page, etc.
Send me an email (fabio@fabiodisconzi.com) and I put them in your project's page as son as possible.
Thanks. And then put a link of this page into your project's website.
